Inspired by the glow and translucent quality of pearls, thin layers of several acrylic mediums were applied daily to this series of paintings to thicken the surface. Every layer has a minimal amount of pigmentation to retain transparency in each layer.

Each painting is handmade and unique with each layer of pigment individually blended at the time of application.
